We pay a rental income to each school we are in, primarily based on the number of children attending and in return, schools re-invest this money into the school estate. We also subsidise some childcare placements confidentially as referred by each school.  This, therefore, follows a social economy model. We also follow a playwork approach in all of our schools to meet the needs of school age children.

Our wraparound childcare facilities compliment and do not detract from extra-curricular activities already offered in schools such as sport or clubs for academic purposes, eg. extra study support or homework clubs. We also offer flexibility in terms of only charging for set days during term time and no retainers for days not booked during school holidays. We also don’t charge for bank holidays when we are closed. Therefore our social economy model meets the needs first and foremost of children, their parents and of course the school in terms of generating much needed income.

We offer a range of facilities in each of our schools – it varies from school to school.  We operate:

Breakfast clubs from 8am to 9am

Waiting Clubs from 2pm to 3pm

Full afternoons from 2pm to 6pm

Holiday clubs from 8am to 6pm during all school holidays and exceptional closures*

Wraparound facilities in St MacNissis and Braniel pre-schools.

Early school finishes facilitating parent-teacher meetings, end of term 12pm finishes, teacher training etc.
